"In my opinion, technology has overall improved people's lives, though it's important to acknowledge the downsides as well.
The most obvious benefit is access to information. People today can learn almost anything instantly, which would have been unimaginable 50 years ago. Moreover, technology has connected the world — families can video call across continents, and businesses can operate globally.
However, I do think there are real concerns. Social media, in particular, has been linked to rising anxiety and depression, especially among teenagers. And automation is threatening many traditional jobs, which creates economic uncertainty for millions of people.
That said, I believe these are challenges we can manage with the right policies — not reasons to reject technology altogether. Overall, the benefits of technology — from medicine to education to communication — far outweigh the drawbacks."
